We have seen an increase in food service operations with Allergens, food Intolerances and Celiac Disease.  You will learn best practices in both front and back of the house of how to store, cook, and handle customer’s needs and requests with Allergens.

You must pass the certified exam with a 80% or higher to be certified.

Certification is issued by AllerTrain, the leading educator in the industry with Allergen Awareness.  Certificate is good for 5 years.

Montgomery County now requires to have an Allergen Certified Manager on staff when the operation is open to the public.  Other counties is highly recommended to be certified.
